A broad-scope practice with strong nursing support and meaningful community impact — ideal for a physician who values autonomy and independence without the overwhelming volumes of a high-acuity urban ED.

Practice Highlights
- 10-bed Emergency Department
- Average volume of approximately 30 patients per 24 hours
- Single-provider coverage per shift with 24/7 RN staffing
- On-call specialty coverage including orthopedics, general surgery and advanced imaging
- Inpatient behavioral health unit on-site
- Obstetric services on-site; nearest OB facility over 60 miles away
- Strong transfer relationships for higher-level care

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- BC in Emergency Medicine encouraged but not required
- Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
- ACLS, PALS and ATLS required
- Comfort practicing independently in a rural setting
