**AP/CP Pathologist Opportunity**
**Location: Cooperstown, New York**
**Board Certified or Board Eligible**
• Full-time AP/CP Pathologist opportunity in Cooperstown, New York
• Join an established group of 5 pathologists providing Anatomic and Clinical Pathology services across an integrated healthcare network
• Opportunity available due to the retirement of a current physician
• NYS Certificate of Qualification (COQ) strongly desired
• Progressive academic practice with affiliation to a major medical school
• Collaborative environment with opportunities for teaching and leadership
Practice & Responsibilities
• Primary responsibility is Anatomic Pathology sign-out
• General AP/CP pathology practice
• Minor teaching responsibilities
• Opportunity for directorship of an outlying network laboratory
• Support from experienced Pathologist Assistants and Cytotechnologists
• Approximately:
o 20,000 surgical cases annually
o 10,000 Cytopathology cases annually
o Approximately 2,000 non-GYN cytology cases
• Practice within an integrated healthcare system serving an 8-county region
• EPIC EMR
Compensation
• Annual salary: $400,000
• Sign-on bonus up to $150,000
• $10,000 Supportive Transition Bonus
• Compensation based on qualifications, experience, education, licensure, specialty, training, and fair market factors
Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Possession of or ability to obtain New York State medical licensure
• Possession of or ability to obtain NYS Certificate of Qualification (COQ)
• BLS certification required
