Located in Albany
Full-Time & Permanent
Details:
- Ideal for early to middle career surgeons.
- Call rotation 1:5
- Hospital-employed position
- Program currently performs 600–700 open heart cases annually at hospital
- Structural heart program includes 150–200 TAVR cases annually, in addition to MitraClip
- Clinic and surgical office conveniently located on hospital campus
- 25+ employed Cardiologists
- Strong in-house CT Surgical PA support covering the OR and ICU
- Modern hospital facilities with three cardiothoracic operating rooms
- Robust referral network from employed and independent regional cardiology practices
Requirement:
- Minimum 4–5 years post-training experience
- Minimally invasive cardiac surgery and/or robotic experience preferred but not required
Comp:
- Starting Salary: 950k-975K
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
