**Position Highlights:**
- Full-time Site Medical Director opportunity combining clinical practice and leadership responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of physicians, APPs, and other licensed providers at the assigned clinical site
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care within Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics
- Oversee clinical quality, patient safety, risk management, productivity, and provider development
- Mentor and coach medical providers and lead annual performance reviews
- Partner with clinic leadership on strategic priorities, staffing, patient access, efficiency, and quality improvement
- Participate in provider recruitment, selection, onboarding, and professional development
- Lead provider and clinical staff meetings focused on education, compliance, quality improvement, and risk reduction
- Participate in credentialing, privileging, and peer review activities
- Collaborate with senior leadership on regulatory and accreditation compliance
- Provide consultation and supervision to Advanced Practice Providers
- Minimum of three 4-hour Saturday clinical shifts per year
- Hybrid work arrangement available
- Pediatrics physicians may have the opportunity to conduct inpatient pediatric rounds based on need and interest
- Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physicians provide after-hours critical lab coverage for a minimum of 2 weeks per year

**Qualifications:**
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics
- Current California medical license
- Current DEA registration
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 3 years of Primary Care experience in a family or community health setting
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare leadership or supervisory experience
- FQHC experience preferred
- Epic EHR experience preferred
- Spanish/English bilingual skills strongly preferred
- Experience with managed care, quality improvement, and healthcare regulatory compliance preferred
