Full-Time | OB/GYN | Women’s Health | 40 Hours
An OB/GYN practice in Rapid City, South Dakota is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to provide pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic care across the lifespan of women.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Full-time Certified Nurse Midwife opportunity
- Provide pre-pregnancy, prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic care
- Perform exams, obtain medical histories, and document clinical findings
- Order and interpret diagnostic procedures
- Manage women’s healthcare, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care
- Prescribe medications and injections within scope of practice, state law, and clinic guidelines
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, health, and illness prevention
- Collaborate with physicians in managing patient care
- Provide continuity of care between physician visits
- Maintain and review patient records and related clinical documentation
- Regular full-time position with 40 scheduled weekly hours

Candidate Requirements:
- Certified Nurse Midwife
- Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
- South Dakota Registered Nurse license required
- South Dakota Certified Nurse Midwife certification required
- Basic Life Support certification required within 60 days of hire or transfer
- 3+ years of Registered Nurse experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and patient-centered care skills
