Movement Disorders Neurologist opening in Rapid City, SD
Full-Time | Outpatient Neurology | Monday-Friday | No Call
A well-established Neuroscience Center in Rapid City, South Dakota is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders to join its growing outpatient neurology team.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Full-time Movement Disorders Neurology opportunity
- Outpatient-focused practice
- Monday-Friday schedule
- No call required
- Join an established outpatient neurology group with one current Movement Disorders specialist
- Inpatient neurology coverage provided by a fully staffed 24-hour Neurohospitalist service
- Comprehensive neuroscience program located on a busy tertiary care campus serving a 5-state region
- Subspecialty team includes epileptologists, neuroimmunology, sleep medicine, neurophysiology, neuro-ophthalmology, general neurology, and neuropsychology
- Neurosurgical treatment for movement disorders available through fellowship-trained functional neurosurgery support
- Active epilepsy monitoring unit and regional sleep center
- Primary Stroke Center with thrombectomy capability
- Program working toward Comprehensive Stroke Center status, Level III epilepsy center status, and movement disorder/epilepsy surgery certification
- Employed position with a collegial group environment and strong work-life balance
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary: **$425,000**
- Productivity bonus incentives available from day one
- Starting and retention bonuses: **$142,000**

Candidate Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
- Fellowship training in Movement Disorders required
- South Dakota medical license or eligibility
- Interest in outpatient Movement Disorders care
- Strong communication, collaboration, and patient-care skills
