**Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine**

• Full-time, 1.0 FTE Emergency Medicine Physician opportunity in Pullman, Washington.
• Health system-employed position at an award-winning critical access hospital.
• Approximately 80% day shifts / 20% night shifts.
• Department provides 34 hours of physician coverage.
• Physicians see approximately 1.5 patients per hour during the day.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine required.
• Rural emergency medicine experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
Department
• Provide high-quality, safe emergency care 24/7 to the local community.
• Emergency Department is staffed exclusively by physicians who are Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine and experienced emergency nurses.
• Collaborate with local specialists and telemedicine physicians for consultation and support.
• Coordinate directly with receiving specialists when patients require transfer to a larger regional medical center.
• Maintain close working relationships with EMS and other area healthcare partners to support seamless care throughout the region.
• Opportunities for physician leadership and teaching are available for those interested in expanding their role beyond clinical practice.
Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary: $405,000
• Commitment incentive: 10% of base salary.
• Retention incentive: $100,000 over five years.
• Relocation stipend: $10,000.
