**Hepatology Opportunity**
**Location: Dayton, OH**
• Opportunity to join a growing Hepatology program and play a key role in building and shaping its future.
• Balanced inpatient and outpatient practice focused on providing comprehensive liver disease care.
• Ideal for a clinically strong physician interested in program development, innovation, and advancing hepatology services.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic liver diseases, including:
o Cirrhosis and its complications (ascites, hepatic encephalopathy, varices)
o Viral hepatitis (HBV and HCV)
o Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD/MASH)
o Alcohol-related liver disease
o Liver masses, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)
• Provide inpatient hepatology consultations and coordinate seamless transitions to outpatient follow-up.
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterology, surgery, oncology, radiology, and primary care teams to deliver multidisciplinary, patient-centered care.
• Perform, supervise, and interpret hepatology-related diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as appropriate.
• Help develop and expand a comprehensive hepatology service line, including clinical pathways, protocols, and best practices.
• Support the growth of specialized programs such as fibrosis clinics, fatty liver disease clinics, and liver cancer services.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help establish clinical performance metrics.
• Opportunity to contribute to medical education by teaching medical students, residents, and future fellows as academic programs expand.
• Participate in curriculum development and help build clinical education infrastructure.
• Opportunities for scholarly activities, including quality improvement projects, case reports, clinical research, and future clinical trials.

Qualifications:
• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
• Fellowship training in Hepatology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Ohio.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

• Comfortable practicing in an evolving, growth-oriented clinical environment.
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and communication skills.
