**Family Medicine (Associate Program Director)**
**Location: Dayton, OH**
• Academic Family Medicine opportunity serving as Associate Program Director for an established Family Medicine Residency Program.
• Seeking an experienced physician educator with a passion for graduate medical education, clinical excellence, and mentoring the next generation of Family Medicine physicians.
• Work closely with the Program Director, Graduate Medical Education leadership, faculty, and clinical teams to support and advance the residency program.
• Assist in the leadership, development, administration, and continuous improvement of the residency program.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME accreditation standards, institutional policies, and graduate medical education regulations.
• Maintain an active clinical practice while providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Lead resident recruitment efforts, including candidate interviews and selection.
• Develop and implement an innovative residency curriculum that prepares residents for board certification and independent practice.
• Mentor and evaluate residents, medical students, and faculty while fostering professional growth and academic excellence.
• Monitor resident performance and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to achieve competency milestones.
• Promote a collaborative learning environment focused on professionalism, quality improvement, and patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary departments to strengthen residency and fellowship education across specialties.
• Participate in program evaluation, quality improvement initiatives, and academic leadership activities.

Qualifications:
• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Board Certified in Family Medicine.
• Active medical license.
• Experience in medical education and/or program administration with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ACGME standards and graduate medical education requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in academic medicine and clinical research.
• Previous residency or fellowship leadership experience (e.g., Associate Program Director, Clinical Competency Committee Chair, or Quality Improvement Committee Chair).
• Additional training or experience in Family Medicine Obstetrics, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to resident education, mentorship, physician wellness, and continuous program improvement.
