**Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Rapid City, South Dakota**
**Experienced Board-Certified**
• Opportunity to practice a mix of cardiac and thoracic surgery with some vascular procedures.
• Join a collaborative team of cardiovascular specialists dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and clinical outcomes.
• Practice within a comprehensive cardiovascular program offering the full spectrum of advanced cardiovascular services.
• Participate in a growing surgical program performing more than 700 cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery cases annually.
• Advanced procedural volume includes CABG, valve repair and replacement, carotid and femoral endarterectomy, convergent ablation procedures, thoracic aortic surgery, ECMO, minimally invasive thoracic surgery, and vascular interventions.
Work alongside a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team including:
o Non-Invasive Cardiologists
o Interventional Cardiologists
o Electrophysiologists
o Heart Failure Cardiologists
o Cardiothoracic Surgeons
o Vascular Surgeons
o More than 25 experienced Advanced Practice Providers providing inpatient and outpatient support
Access to state-of-the-art facilities including:
o 12 operating rooms
o 2 dedicated cardiac surgery operating rooms
o 2 hybrid operating rooms
o 2 da Vinci robotic surgical systems
• Shared call schedule among cardiothoracic surgery partners.
• Supported by a comprehensive cardiovascular quality improvement program with participation in multiple national quality registries.
• Strong institutional commitment and continued investment in cardiovascular services.
• Comprehensive electrophysiology program offering advanced treatment options for cardiac arrhythmias.
• Dedicated structural heart program featuring advanced transcatheter and minimally invasive procedures.
• High-volume cardiac catheterization laboratories performing diagnostic and interventional coronary, peripheral vascular, and endovascular procedures.
• Opportunity to participate in an active cardiovascular clinical research program with ongoing enrollment in multiple clinical trials.
• Established support services including cardiac rehabilitation, anticoagulation management, lipid management, lifestyle medicine, and heart failure programs.
