Practice Overview:

- Full-time Cardiology APP opportunity in Norwich, Connecticut
- Open to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- Provide direct patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Collaborate closely with cardiology physicians and a rapidly growing heart and vascular team
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage cardiology patients within APP scope of practice
- Identify emergent diagnostic findings and communicate timely updates to physician colleagues
- Prescribe, dispense, and administer therapeutic and corrective measures in collaboration with a licensed physician
- Ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cardiology and adaptability within a growing service line
- Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts
- Weekend coverage: one weekend per month
- No night call
- Negotiable bonus opportunity

Job Qualifications:

- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner training preferred for NP candidates
- Connecticut APRN or PA license, or eligibility
- National board certification or eligibility
- 3+ years of clinical experience required
- Cardiology experience preferred
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and collaboration skills
