Located in Kingsport, Tennessee
**About the Position**
A 505-bed Level III trauma center in Kingsport, Tennessee is seeking a full-time BC/BE Neurohospitalist for an inpatient-only opportunity. The hospital is a recognized Primary Stroke Center and offers a well-established neurological program with advanced clinical resources and APP support.
**Position Highlights**
-7 days on / 7 days off schedule
-24-hour coverage consisting of 12-hour onsite day coverage and 12-hour telephonic coverage
-Inpatient-only practice
-Average patient volume of 12-15 patients, including consults
-Cover inpatient stroke and general neurology
-Consults include ICU, general medical floors, and Emergency Department
-Read routine and prolonged EEGs
-Nurse Practitioner support
-Epic EMR system
-Employed position
-Primary Stroke Center
-505-bed Level III trauma center

-MD or DO

-Ability to provide ICU, medical floor, and Emergency Department consultations
-Ability to interpret routine and prolonged EEGs
