**About the Position**
A growing pulmonary and critical care service in Southwest Virginia is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonologist/Critical Care Physician. This full-time employed opportunity combines outpatient pulmonary medicine, ICU critical care consultation, and the opportunity to participate in one of the nation's busiest Black Lung clinics.

-No prior Black Lung experience required; on-the-job training provided
-Outpatient pulmonary and critical care responsibilities
-Access to new ION Bronchoscopy technology
-J-1 and H-1B visa candidates accepted

**Practice Highlights**
-Join a growing pulmonary and critical care service
-Average 20 outpatient clinic patients per day
-Average 5-6 Black Lung patients per day
-Participate in a high-volume Black Lung program with specialized training provided
-Provide consultations for ICU critical care patients
-New ION Bronchoscopy equipment
-Strong clinical and support staff
-Opportunity to work with and teach Internal Medicine residents
-Potential research opportunities and future program growth
-Service area of approximately 75,000-100,000 residents
-129-bed community hospital setting

**Procedures & Skills**
-Arterial line placement
-Bronchoscopy
-Critical Care experience preferred
-EBUS experience is a plus

**Qualifications**
-MD or DO
-Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care
-Skills in arterial line placement and bronchoscopy
-Critical Care and EBUS experience are a plus
-No previous Black Lung experience required
-J-1 and H-1B visa candidates welcome
