Located in Cooperstown, New York
Sign-on bonus up to $100,000
**About the Position**
An Infectious Disease Physician is sought to join a progressive academic healthcare system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care, academic involvement, and opportunities in research and infection control.
-Join an established team of 3 Infectious Disease physicians
-Inpatient and outpatient infectious disease consults
-Outpatient longitudinal HIV care
-Phone-only call schedule of 1:4
-Opportunity to provide telehealth coverage for affiliated regional hospitals
-Opportunity to participate in clinical research, antimicrobial stewardship, and infection control initiatives
-Moonlighting opportunities available as a hospitalist in inpatient internal medicine
**Practice Setting**
-Major teaching affiliate of Columbia University
-Daily interaction with medical students, internal medicine residents, and transitional year residents
-Group-employed practice model
-Fully integrated EPIC Electronic Medical Record
-Collaborative academic and multidisciplinary environment
**Compensation and Benefits**
-Salary range: $270K–$300K
-Incentive plan with no earnings cap
-Strong productivity upside potential beginning in year one
-Up to $100K sign-on bonus
