A rural community hospital in Nevada, Missouri is seeking a dedicated Neurology Physician to join its growing healthcare team. This opportunity offers the ability to build and expand neurology services while providing essential specialty care close to home for the local community.
Practice Highlights
Outpatient-focused neurology practice
Opportunity to develop and grow neurology services
Evaluate and manage a broad range of neurological conditions, including:
Headache and migraine disorders
Stroke follow-up care
Neuropathy
Seizure disorders
Movement disorders
Cognitive and memory disorders
Flexible clinic scheduling
Limited inpatient consults as needed
EMG services available
Hospital & Community
71-bed rural community hospital
Emergency Department averaging approximately 30 patients per 24 hours
Established primary care referral network
Nearest tertiary care center located more than 60 miles away
Strong community need for local neurology services to reduce patient travel
Ideal setting for physicians seeking autonomy and meaningful community impact
Clinical Support & Resources
Advanced imaging services available
Collaborative primary care and hospitalist teams
On-call specialty support available (not 24/7)
Established transfer relationships for higher-acuity neurological care

Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Eligible for hospital medical staff privileges
