Urgent Care of Piedmont - York | York, South Carolina

Position Highlights
- Employed position with Piedmont Physician Network
- Outpatient-only urgent care practice
- 14-15 twelve-hour shifts per month
- No call responsibilities
- Competitive compensation package

- Physician and Nurse Practitioner staffing model on each shift
- Average patient volume of 25-50 patients per day
- Opportunity to perform minor office-based procedures
- Occupational medicine services included within the practice
- Ability to interpret X-rays and manage a broad range of urgent care conditions
- Collaborative team consisting of:
- 1 Full-Time Physician
- 1 PRN Physician
- 2 Full-Time Nurse Practitioners
- 1 PRN Nurse Practitioner
- Comprehensive support staff including:
- Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs)
- Radiology Technologists
- Patient Service Representatives
- Practice Supervisor
- Practice Manager
- Clinic hours:
- Monday-Saturday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
- Closed on Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO degree required
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Primary Care preferred
- Comfortable managing a wide variety of acute care conditions
- Ability to perform minor procedures and interpret diagnostic imaging
- DOT and MRO certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
