Per Diem General Surgery NP/PA - Flexible 40-hr Week, $129K, Comprehensive Benefits (Redlands, CA)

We are seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practice Provider to join our General Surgery team in Redlands, CA. This role is ideal for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant skilled in surgical care who wants to collaborate closely with surgeons in a patient-focused setting. The position offers a flexible 40-hour schedule to support work-life balance while delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care in partnership with the surgical team.
• Manage continuity of care at the hospital clinic located across the street, including outpatient follow-up and patient education.
• Document all patient care activities in the electronic health record in accordance with hospital and SAMGI standards.
• Participate in acute care surgical consults and admissions (approximately 414 annually) and help manage a patient volume of roughly 34,331 visits per year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Active or eligible for California NP or PA licensure and certification
• Surgical or inpatient experience preferred; endoscopy experience strongly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care
