Orthopedic Trauma Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Willing to Train) - Goodyear, AZ

We’re looking for a motivated, skilled NP or PA to join our Orthopedic Trauma Surgery team in Goodyear, AZ. You’ll care for orthopedic trauma patients across the full spectrum - from initial consults in the ED to post-op follow-ups - working closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital environment.

What you’ll do:

• Evaluate and manage inpatient and emergency orthopedic trauma consultations
• First-assist in the OR on trauma and acute orthopedic procedures
• Perform pre-op and post-op evaluations and daily rounding
• Provide procedures such as joint reductions, splinting, and wound care
• Coordinate care with trauma surgeons, orthopedic staff, and allied teams
• Document thoroughly and accurately in the EMR
• Support discharge planning and patient education
• Participate in rotating coverage that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Who we’re looking for:

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Current Arizona license or ability to obtain licensure before starting
• Orthopedic or trauma surgery experience required (preferred: 1+ years)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• DEA registration or ability to obtain
• Strong clinical decision-making, procedural competence, and the ability to operate independently in a team-driven setting
