Pediatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Outpatient Child & Adolescent NP (Reading, PA)

Join a warm, collaborative behavioral health team in Reading, PA where you’ll make a real difference for children and adolescents. This full-time role offers a predictable, family-friendly schedule - four days a week (three days 8:00 AM-5:00 PM and one extended day 8:00 AM-7:00 PM) - so you can provide consistent care while maintaining work-life balance.

What you’ll do:

• Perform outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnose, and manage medications for pediatric and adolescent patients.
• Work closely with therapists, pediatricians, and support staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Keep clear, timely documentation and follow state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate care with families, schools, and other providers to support the child’s overall well-being.

Compensation & benefits:

• Competitive salary range: $165,000-$180,000, based on experience

Who we’re looking for:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program
• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania NP license
• Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; pediatric experience or certification strongly preferred
• 1-2 years’ clinical experience in child/adolescent psychiatry (new graduates with strong pediatric backgrounds will be considered)
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
