Medical Director of Interventional Pain & Spine opening in Burlington, MA
Full-Time | Pain Medicine Leadership | 20% Administrative Time | H-1B Eligible
A multidisciplinary Pain and Spine Center in the Greater Boston area is seeking a full-time Medical Director to lead and grow its interventional pain program.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Lead a comprehensive Interventional Pain and Spine Center
- Treat acute, chronic, cancer-related, and complex spine pain conditions
- Clinical scope includes medication management, image-guided spine interventions, neuromodulation, minimally invasive therapies, and multidisciplinary pain pathways
- Partner with Anesthesiology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Oncology, PM&R, Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Rheumatology, Palliative Care, and Rehabilitation Services
- Support outpatient clinic growth, procedural expansion, provider mentorship, quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives
- Opportunity to develop a multidisciplinary Pain Fellowship Program
- Promote education, research, clinical innovation, and outcomes-focused care
- 20% dedicated administrative time
- H-1B visa sponsorship accepted
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: **$485,000 - $515,000**
- Additional benefits to be discussed during the interview process
Candidate Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Completion of an accredited Pain Fellowship required
- Board Certification required
- Massachusetts medical license or eligibility
- 5-10 years of clinical experience preferred
- 3+ years of clinical leadership experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and program-growth skills
- Experience with quality, safety, healthcare systems, data analysis, and clinical decision-making preferred
