Job Description
Locum tenens opportunity in Littleton and Lincoln, New Hampshire. Provide urgent care services across two clinics serving patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat acute, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries
- Perform physical exams and procedures appropriate to urgent care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, plain film x-ray)
- Provide patient education and arrange follow-up care
- Document encounters accurately and timely in the medical record
- Collaborate with clinic staff and other clinicians to optimize patient care
Site capabilities
- Waived point-of-care lab testing
- Onsite plain film x-ray
Qualifications
- NP (board-certified Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician Assistant)
- Active New Hampshire license or willing to obtain
- Urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
- Occupational health experience a plus but not required
