Job Description
- Mon - Sun, 8 am - 4 pm (8hr shift) with beeper call coverage
- Call from home -- up to 7 days per month after hours and weekends
- 4hr STAT / 24hr routine call response times required
- Inpatient and outpatient rounding -- adult, pediatric, and neonate
- Trauma surgery included
- Comprehensive general surgery skills required -- laparoscopic and open
- OB/GYN surgery required -- C-section, D&C, hysterectomy
- GI endoscopy required -- upper, lower, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
- Assignment details and time entry in online portal
