Non-Interventional Cardiologist (Non-Invasive or Invasive) — Jacksonville, FL

A physician-led cardiology and peripheral vascular group in Jacksonville is seeking a non-invasive or invasive/non-interventional cardiologist to join its busy practice.

About the practice

• Seven physicians (four interventionalists, one electrophysiologist, two non-invasive) supported by seven ARNPs
• Referrals from 100+ sources and a large established patient base
• Main office located next to a large community hospital with cardiac, peripheral and EP labs
• In-house nuclear (SPECT and cardiac PET), 128-slice cardiac CT with AI, echo, vascular ultrasound, pacemaker checks and remote ECG monitoring
• Office-based cath lab, a new two-room ASC opening in 2027, and a large venous program

The role

• Office consultations and hospital rounding; hospitalists and PCPs admit, so you consult only
• Read diagnostic tests, including nuclear studies
• Recognize and manage both cardiac and peripheral vascular disease, as the practice sees a high volume of peripheral patients
• Occasional clinic days at nearby sub-offices; most physicians live equidistant from them
• After hours, usually phone calls only

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular disease
• Nuclear boards preferred
