Job Description
We are seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Wisconsin. This position offers a flexible schedule, dedicated clinical support, and the opportunity to collaborate with an established OB/GYN team.
Overview
- Outpatient setting
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Preferred coverage of two consecutive weeks per month
- Full-time coverage may be available for providers interested in a regular schedule
- Surgical cases are typically scheduled all day Monday and Tuesday
- Wednesday–Friday clinic coverage is also desired
- No traditional call responsibilities; providers will handle calls regarding postoperative surgical patients during their scheduled coverage
- EMR: Epic
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Approximately 10–12 patients per day
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient gynecologic oncology care
- Perform gynecologic oncology surgical procedures as appropriate
- Evaluate new patients and provide follow-up care
- Coordinate with referring providers and the broader OB/GYN team
- Supervise APPs as required
- Complete documentation in Epic in real time, by the end of the shift, or post-shift as required
