Part-Time Medical Director / Attending Physician - Hospitalist (Skilled Nursing Facilities)

We’re looking for a dedicated physician to serve as Medical Director/Attending for skilled nursing facilities in Matthews, North Carolina. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule, a collaborative team environment, and the chance to make a real difference caring for post-acute and long-term care patients. You’ll work closely with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care while offering clinical leadership and oversight at assigned facilities.

What the role looks like

• Part-time coverage: physicians typically staff each facility 1-2 days per week.
• Predictable, flexible shifts: no fixed start/end times, no call, and no overnight work.
• Patient volume: expect approximately 18-25 visits per day.
• Support: you’ll partner with NPs/PAs on site and have tools to document efficiently (company-provided iPad with LTE).

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure.
