Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist opening in Epping, NH
Full-Time | Integrated Pediatric Psychiatry | Outpatient | No Call
An integrated pediatric practice in the New Hampshire Seacoast region is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to provide behavioral health care for pediatric and young adult patients as part of a multidisciplinary primary care team.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Full-time Pediatric Psychiatry opportunity
- Embedded within a multidisciplinary pediatric primary care team
- Provide psychiatric care for patients from infancy through age 22
- Primarily outpatient psychiatric practice
- Regular office hours
- No call
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnosis
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage children and adolescents with complex psychiatric conditions
- Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications
- Provide weekly Collaborative Care Management caseload consultation
- Work closely with behavioral health care managers
- Provide telephone and electronic psychiatric consultation to primary care physicians
- Collaborate with pediatricians, nursing, care managers, and behavioral health clinicians
- Integrated medical and behavioral health care model
- Ability to flex between outpatient and inpatient settings as needed
- Strong emphasis on family-centered care
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual base salary range: **$221,801 – $317,858**

Candidate Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Psychiatry
- Training from an accredited medical school
- Experience with Collaborative Care Management or liaison psychiatry
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable treating pediatric and young adult patients through age 22
- Ability to provide both direct psychiatric care and provider consultation
- Ability to flex between outpatient and inpatient settings when needed
