Full-Time | Women’s Mental Health | Perinatal Psychiatry | Outpatient & Telehealth
An OB/GYN-based behavioral health program in Cambridge, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide specialized psychiatric care focused on women’s mental health, reproductive life stages, and perinatal care.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Full-time PMHNP opportunity
- Specialized focus on Women’s Mental Health and Perinatal Psychiatry
- Embedded within an Obstetrics and Gynecology department
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment and diagnosis
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide ongoing behavioral health management
- Medication management and psychopharmacology
- Provide short-term therapy and coping strategies
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis and treatment options
- Provide both in-person and telehealth care
- Work across community-based outpatient offices
- Practice locations include Cambridge, Waltham, Arlington, and Watertown
- Collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians
- Work with certified nurse midwives
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners, nurses, specialists, and social workers
- Participate in education for students and clinical learners
Clinical Focus:
- Perinatal depression
- Perinatal anxiety
- Psychiatric care during pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Perimenopausal and menopausal mental health
- Premenstrual dysphoric disorder
- Mental health concerns associated with endometriosis
- Adenomyosis
- Urinary incontinence
- Fibroids
- Recurrent pregnancy loss
- Traumatic birth
- Chronic pain and anxiety associated with gynecologic conditions
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual base salary range: **$133,515.20 – $200,158.40**

Candidate Requirements:
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- MSN or DNP with PMHNP specialization
- Current Massachusetts PMHNP license
- Current DEA registration
- Experience providing psychiatric assessment and medication management
- Women’s Mental Health experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of psychotropic medication considerations during pregnancy, anticipated pregnancy, and breastfeeding
- Comfortable providing both in-person and telehealth care
- Ability to travel between ambulatory office locations as required
- Strong multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Spanish-speaking ability preferred but not required
