Interventional Radiology NP / PA opening in Burlington, MA
Full-Time | Interventional Radiology | Procedural APP | Multi-Site Coverage
An Interventional Radiology program in Burlington, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing endovascular and image-guided procedures. The position includes coverage at affiliated sites in Newburyport, Massachusetts and Exeter, New Hampshire.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Full-time Interventional Radiology APP opportunity
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant considered
- Provide care across consultation, inpatient, outpatient, procedural, and post-procedural settings
- Primary team based in Burlington, Massachusetts
- Deployment to affiliated sites in Newburyport, Massachusetts and Exeter, New Hampshire
- Conduct initial evaluations and Interventional Radiology consultations
- Perform histories and physical examinations
- Coordinate post-procedure follow-up care
- Monitor patients during post-procedure recovery
- Collaborate with Interventional Radiologists
- Work closely with surgeons, internists, hospitalists, and critical care teams
- Provide patient education and informed consent
- Coordinate pre-procedure laboratory and imaging requirements
- Assist with procedural planning
- Provide intra-procedural support
- Sedation assistance
- Sterile field preparation
- Participate in departmental QA/QI initiatives
- Participate in morbidity and mortality reviews
- Contribute to clinical pathway and protocol development
Procedural Responsibilities:
- Port placement
- Vascular line placement
- Joint injections
- Image-guided biopsies
- Thyroid biopsies
- Non-focal liver biopsies
- Paracentesis
- Thoracentesis
- Tube checks
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual base salary range: **$133,120 – $215,000**

Candidate Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
- Massachusetts NP or PA license
- National board certification through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Prior Interventional Radiology or Critical Care experience required
- Ability to interpret basic imaging studies
- Understanding of vascular anatomy
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Strong procedural, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
