**Breast Imaging Radiologist**
**Location: Joplin, Missouri**
• Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Breast Imaging Radiologist for a full-time, onsite, hospital-employed position.
• Provide clinical and regulatory oversight of breast imaging services across multiple locations, ensuring consistent and standardized care.
Serve as the Lead Interpreting Physician (LIP) responsible for compliance with MQSA requirements, including:
o Clinical image quality
o Quality assurance (QA)
o Quality control (QC)
o Regulatory documentation
• Ensure ongoing compliance with ACR accreditation standards, FDA MQSA regulations, and internal quality and safety protocols.
• Oversee clinical image quality and provide feedback to radiologists and technologists, including corrective action when needed.
• Direct the medical outcomes audit program, monitoring key performance metrics such as recall rates, cancer detection rates, and positive predictive value.
Interpret a broad range of breast imaging studies, including:
o Screening and diagnostic mammography
o Breast ultrasound
o Breast MRI
• Perform image-guided breast procedures, including biopsies and localizations, as clinically required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgery, oncology, and pathology to support comprehensive breast care.
• Partner with operational and program leadership to coordinate workflows, staffing, and scheduling across multiple locations.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on clinical performance, patient experience, and turnaround times.
• Support standardization of imaging protocols, reporting practices, and clinical workflows across breast imaging locations.
• Participate in strategic planning related to program growth, patient access, and service-line development.
• Provide mentorship and professional guidance to interpreting physicians and technologists, promoting consistency and best practices.
