Full-Time | Surgical Pathology | Academic-Affiliated | Multidisciplinary Practice
An academic-affiliated medical center in Burlington, Massachusetts is seeking a full-time Surgical Pathologist to join an established team of 16 pathologists providing comprehensive anatomic pathology services.
Opportunity Highlights:

- Sign out general surgical biopsies and resections
- Participate in frozen section services
- Participate in autopsy services
- Provide pathology services to affiliated hospitals within the regional health system
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinical conferences
- High-volume surgical pathology practice
- Approximately 37,000 surgical specimens processed annually at the primary campus
- Additional affiliated hospital volume of approximately 16,000 surgical specimens annually
- Broad departmental subspecialty expertise
- Academic affiliation with a medical school
- EPIC EMR
- Collaborative multidisciplinary practice environment
Subspecialty Experience of Interest:
- Genitourinary Pathology
- Gynecologic Pathology
- Head & Neck Pathology
- Endocrine Pathology
- Hematopathology
- Molecular Pathology
The department also maintains expertise in Breast Pathology, GI Pathology, Medical Liver and Renal Pathology, Dermatopathology, Cytopathology, Transplant Pathology, Thoracic Pathology, and other subspecialty areas.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual base salary range: **$358,000 – $406,000**
- Potential productivity incentive compensation

Candidate Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
- Massachusetts medical license or eligibility
- Fellowship training or subspecialty experience strongly preferred
- Experience in one or more relevant pathology subspecialties is a significant plus
- Comfortable signing out general surgical biopsies and resections
- Ability to participate in frozen section and autopsy services
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
