Full-Time | Academic Medicine | Advanced Bronchoscopy | BLVR Program Leadership
An academic tertiary care center in Burlington, Massachusetts is seeking a full-time Interventional Pulmonologist to join an established Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine division with a nationally recognized Interventional Pulmonology program.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Full-time Interventional Pulmonology opportunity
- Join an established Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine division
- Faculty appointment available at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, based on experience
- Serve as Associate Program Director for the Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship
- Serve as Director of the Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction program
- Perform advanced bronchoscopy
- Navigation bronchoscopy
- Robotic bronchoscopy
- EBUS-TBNA
- Pleural disease management
- Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction using FDA-approved technologies
- Lead and expand the BLVR program
- Oversee patient selection and multidisciplinary coordination for BLVR
- Participate in outcomes tracking and program development
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient Pulmonary care
- Mentor Interventional Pulmonology fellows
- Mentor Pulmonary/Critical Care fellows, residents, and medical students
- Participate in curriculum development
- Participate in simulation-based education and trainee assessment
- Clinical research and quality improvement opportunities
- Opportunities for publications, presentations, and educational symposia

Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual base salary range: **$300,000 – $350,000**
- Potential productivity incentive compensation

Candidate Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Completion of an AABIP-accredited Interventional Pulmonology fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- Massachusetts medical license or eligibility
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care and teaching
- Prior leadership or mentorship experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction preferred
- Candidates with strong interest and willingness to lead BLVR program development may also be considered
- Strong communication, collaboration, and academic skills
