- Call only coverage -- beeper call, 25-minute response time required
- Avg per 24 hrs: 7 phone consults, 10 patients seen, 4 admissions
- Rounding: both inpatient and outpatient
- Nephrology patients -- dialysis and post-renal transplant populations
- Dialysis management required: hemo, CRRT, and peritoneal
- Renal biopsy and dialysis catheter placement required
- Hospital privileges required
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
- Assignment details and time entry in online portal
