Help Grow a New Lung Nodule Program | Abrazo Medical Group
Glendale, Arizona | Phoenix West Valley

 

The Opportunity

Abrazo Medical Group (TPR) is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Pulmonologist to join and help grow a new Interventional Pulmonary and Lung Nodule Program in Phoenix's rapidly growing West Valley.

The practice will be based in Glendale and is primarily outpatient, with procedural support at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. This is an opportunity to help shape the program while benefiting from Abrazo Health's established hospital, physician, referral, operational, and marketing network.

 

Practice Highlights

  • Primarily outpatient, Monday-Friday practice with no call
  • Opportunity to shape and grow a new Interventional Pulmonary and Lung Nodule Program with established Abrazo referral, hospital, and operational support
  • Clinic-based Interventional Pulmonology with procedures performed at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus
  • Access to Endoscopy Lab and pulmonary diagnostic/procedural resources
  • Opportunity to develop lung nodule referral pathways across Abrazo's hospital and physician network
  • Anticipated clinic volume of approximately 18-20 patients per day
  • Dedicated MA, Scheduler, and Patient Service Representative
  • Opportunity for APP support as the practice grows
  • Athena clinic EMR and Cerner hospital EMR
  • Comprehensive onboarding, credentialing, marketing, referral outreach, and practice-growth support

Candidate Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Fellowship trained in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
  • Fellowship trained in Interventional Pulmonology
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
  • Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
  • Training and experience in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy, including EBUS
  • Robotic bronchoscopy experience, including ION, preferred
  • Interest in lung nodule care and program growth

This full-time employed opportunity through Abrazo Medical Group (TPR) includes a competitive 12-month salary guarantee with productivity upside, transitioning to a wRVU-based compensation model in year two.
