Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon - Level II Trauma Center (San Jose, CA)

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon needed for a locums assignment at a busy Level II Trauma Center in San Jose, CA. The program manages ~600 orthopedic trauma cases annually and treats a diverse, high-acuity trauma population.

Compensation

• $4,500 per 24-hour shift

Core Responsibilities

• Provide operative and non-operative surgical care for orthopedic trauma patients
• Perform trauma consultations and operative interventions
• Participate in inpatient rounding and postoperative management
• Provide outpatient orthopedic trauma follow-up clinics
• Collaborate with trauma, emergency medicine, and other surgical services
• Engage in quality improvement and program development activities

Minimum Requirements

• MD or DO
• Completed Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma (required)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active California medical license or eligibility for California licensure
