Inpatient Psychiatry | Leadership | Academic Teaching
A specialized Adult Mood Disorders inpatient program in Westport, Connecticut is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director and lead a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Medical Director leadership role within an Adult Mood Disorders Unit
- Provide direct inpatient psychiatric care
- Treat adults with mood disorders
- Treat anxiety disorders
- Treat trauma-related disorders
- Lead and collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary treatment team
- Participate in resident supervision
- Participate in medical student teaching
- Academic appointment eligibility
- Dedicated academic time with a Psychiatry Residency Program
- Monday-Friday schedule
- No required after-hours call
- Optional moonlighting opportunities for additional income
- Opportunity to contribute to program development
