• 12-hr shifts -- 6 am - 6 pm in-house; 6 pm - 6 am on-call
• 10 - 14 days per month; 3+ day minimum commitment
• Avg 10 patients per shift; avg 1 admission per shift
• Inpatient Level III NICU -- no surgical sub-specialties
• Procedures: intubation, chest tubes, central lines, spinal taps
• Ventilator management -- oscillators and iNO required
• NRP and PALS certification required
• Transport required
