Pediatric Hospitalist - Duluth, Minnesota

Aspirus Health is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our established and growing Pediatric Hospitalist program at Aspirus St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota.

OPPORTUNITY:

• Approximately seven 24-hour shifts per month
• Five-person inpatient pediatric team
• 24/7 in-house Pediatric Hospitalist coverage. Fair and equitable distribution of night, weekend, and holiday coverage. No home call.
• Coverage areas include a dedicated 8 bed inpatient pediatric ward, ED consultations, well newborn nursery care, 34 week and above level II nursery care, and as needed newborn delivery attendance all within a single hospital setting.
• Dedicated nursing staff within the maternal child health department are cross trained to manage newborns, children, and mothers providing nursing continuity.
• Newly remodeled birthing center, brand new Emergency Department setting, current remodeling of the level II nursery with private family rooms and state of the art equipment updates.
• Candidates must live within 4 hours of Aspirus St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN.

$240,000/year. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentive or production-based compensation.
