Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon - Level II Trauma Center, San Jose (Board-Certified/Eligible)

We’re looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a busy Level II Trauma Center in San Jose, CA on a locums basis. You’ll be part of a high-performing Orthopedic Trauma Program that manages roughly 600 orthopedic trauma cases a year, offering exposure to a diverse, high-acuity patient population.

Compensation

• $4,500 per 24-hour shift

What you’ll be doing

• Provide surgical care and interventions for orthopedic trauma patients
• Perform inpatient consultations, take part in rounding, and manage postoperative care
• Follow patients in outpatient orthopedic trauma clinics
• Collaborate closely with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, and other surgical teams
• Engage in quality improvement efforts and help develop the program

Minimum requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma (required)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active California medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
