Job Description
Locums - A well-established hospital in southern Colorado is seeking a Board Certified Urologist to assist with ongoing weekend trauma call coverage.
- Board Certified Urologist
- Coverage needed January 25 - April 30, 2027
- Every weekend, Friday 7a through Monday 7a (72-hour call coverage)
- Inpatient setting covering trauma call and Emergency Department consults
- Approximately 95% adult and 5% pediatric patients
- General adult and pediatric procedures, including endoscopic, laparoscopic, and complex surgical cases
- Experience with advanced urologic and robotic procedures preferred
- RN, APP, and onsite anesthesia support; no teaching or supervision requirements
- EMR: EPIC
- Clean malpractice/background history and recent NPDB self-query required
- Active Colorado license or IMLC with LOQ, DEA, and BLS required
- Local or drive-in candidate highly preferred
- Competitive 24-hour call and callback rates, travel, lodging, milage reimbursement, and malpractice provided
