Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon - Level II Trauma Center in San Jose (≈600 Cases/Year)

We are recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a high-performing Orthopedic Trauma Program in San Jose, CA. Based at a busy Level II Trauma Center that manages roughly 600 orthopedic trauma cases annually, this position offers a stimulating clinical practice focused on inpatient surgical care with outpatient clinic follow-up.

• Predominantly inpatient surgical practice with outpatient follow-up

Core responsibilities:

• Deliver expert surgical care for orthopedic trauma patients across the continuum of care
• Manage inpatient rounds, consultations, operative procedures, and postoperative care
• Provide follow-up care in the dedicated orthopedic trauma clinic
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to program growth alongside VMC leadership

Required qualifications:

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active California medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
