**Experienced Hospitalist**
**Location: Rapid City, South Dakota**
Position Overview
• Seeking an experienced Internal Medicine physician or a Family Medicine physician with multiple years of inpatient medicine experience to join an established team of more than 50 Hospitalists and Nocturnists.
• Practice at a 417-bed regional tertiary referral hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center.
• Join a collaborative hospital medicine department focused on quality patient care and a manageable workload.
• Enjoy a flexible scheduling model designed to support work-life balance.
Schedule and Practice Highlights
• Full-time, daytime schedule, generally 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Flexible shift blocks available.
• Manageable patient volume.
• No after-hours call responsibilities.
• No ICU responsibilities.
• No formal participation on the Code Team.
• Procedures are not required but are supported for physicians who are interested and appropriately credentialed and privileged.
• Work alongside an established team of Hospitalists and Nocturnists in a well-supported clinical environment.
Qualifications
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine; or
• Board-certified in Family Medicine with multiple years of acute inpatient care experience.
• Board certification in Hospital Medicine is also accepted.
• Experienced physicians with a strong background in inpatient medicine are encouraged to apply.
• Visa eligibility: This opportunity does not qualify for J-1 visa waivers.
