NP/PA - Walk-In - Occasional - Houghton, Michigan

Aspirus Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Walk-In department at Aspirus Houghton Clinic as an occasional provider.

OPPORTUNITY:

• Provide coverage on an as-needed basis, with no call responsibilities
• 10-hour shifts, 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages, with an average daily volume of 15-20 patients/day
• Diagnose and treat acute needs like respiratory illnesses, tick bites, strep throat, UTIs, and fractures/sprains.
• Perform standard outpatient procedures including suturing, foreign body removal, splinting/bracing, and incision & drainage (I&D)
• Lab, x-ray, and pharmacy services onsite
