Part-Time / Per Diem | Outpatient Endocrinology | Academic Teaching | H-1B Cap Exempt
A multi-specialty physician group in Derby, Connecticut is seeking a Board Certified, fellowship-trained Endocrinologist to provide comprehensive office-based care for patients with endocrine and metabolic conditions.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Part-time / per diem Endocrinology opportunity
- Office-based clinical setting
- Diagnose and manage endocrine system disorders
- Treat diabetes
- Treat thyroid disorders
- Manage hormonal imbalances and other endocrine conditions
- Perform patient examinations and obtain medical histories
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and hospital-based programs
- Promote wellness and patient health education
- Participate in shared on-call coverage with other Endocrinology providers
- Supervise residents and medical students
- Provide clinical supervision for APPs, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff
- Teaching involvement with Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine residency programs

Candidate Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Completion of accredited Endocrinology training and fellowship
- Board Certified in Endocrinology
- Fellowship trained in Endocrinology
- Valid and unrestricted Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain
- Valid DEA registration
- Controlled Substance Certificate
- H-1B cap-exempt sponsorship available
- Green Card sponsorship available
