Job Description
Locums - A well respected hospital is seeking a Cardiac Surgeon to assist with call coverage in Ohio 45 minutes west of Pittsburgh
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Surgeon
- Coverage needs 11/20-11/30 and 12/22- 1/4. 24 hour call
- Cardiac Surgeon needed for OR and Hospital rounding. No clinic
- Must be comfortable with CABG/AVR and Pericardial Window-100% cardiac
- Must have a clean file in order to get emergency/temp privs
- Average admissions 4-5 per week- 60 min response time for open heart
- Workload info: Inpatient 2-3 per day- admits 1-2 per day- Consults 1-2 per day and 1-2 cardiac cases per week- 1-2 evals
- EMR Meditech
- Active Ohio license, DEA, ACLS, BLS
- Competitive rate, mileage, lodging, malpractice provided
