Locums Board-Certified Gastroenterologist - Procedures-Only, $500-$520/hr, 3x8s (Northampton, MA)

Join a collaborative gastroenterology team in central Massachusetts to provide procedure-focused care for adult patients. This locum opportunity is dedicated exclusively to GI procedures within an established clinical setting.

Compensation: $500-$520 per hour

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine upper and lower endoscopic procedures, including EGD and colonoscopy.
• Deliver efficient, high-quality procedural care, averaging 12-16 cases per day.
• Accurately document procedures and findings in Epic.
• Adhere to clinical protocols and patient safety standards.

Schedule and practice details

• Three 8-hour shifts per week (ideally Wednesday-Friday), 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Procedures-only coverage; no routine outpatient clinic duties.
• Adult patient population.
• EMR: Epic.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Gastroenterology.
• Active Massachusetts medical license.
• Current BLS certification and active DEA registration.
• Proven experience in upper endoscopies and colonoscopies.
