Locum Urgent Care NP or PA - East Rutherford, NJ (6-Month)

We’re looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an urgent care in East Rutherford, NJ, for an immediate six-month locum assignment. This is a hands-on role in a busy outpatient urgent care where you’ll manage a steady patient flow and make a real impact providing timely, high-quality care.

Pay and assignment

• Compensation: $100 per hour
• Location: East Rutherford, New Jersey
• Duration: Six-month locum assignment, immediate start

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday: 11:00 AM-9:00 PM
• Friday-Saturday: 11:00 AM-10:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Coverage: single-provider shift
• Typical volume: about 40 patients per day

What you’ll be doing

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Perform urgent care procedures such as laceration repair and suturing
• Create treatment plans and arrange appropriate follow-up
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
• Provide efficient, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment

What we’re looking for

• Active New Jersey medical or advanced practice license (as applicable)
• Active DEA registration
• Current credentials as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Prior urgent care or fast-paced outpatient experience is preferred
