Hematology/Oncology Physician opening in Southbridge, MA
Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem | No Weekends or Holidays | Minimal Call
An established community cancer center in Southbridge, Massachusetts is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive cancer and hematology care to patients throughout south central Massachusetts and northeastern Connecticut.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Full-time, part-time, or per diem options available
- Join an established community cancer center
- Current team includes 2 full-time physicians, 1 full-time APP, nurse navigator, genetic counselor, and social worker
- Inpatient coverage provided by an in-house Hospitalist service
- No weekends
- No holidays
- Very minimal call
- No inpatient chemotherapy
- 10-chair infusion suite
- On-site pharmacy
- Radiation Oncology available within the cancer center
- Genetic Counseling services
- Patient navigation support
- Commission on Cancer accredited program
- EPIC EMR
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual salary range: **$270,000 – $350,000**
- Sign-on bonus
- Relocation reimbursement
- Tuition loan reimbursement
- Malpractice insurance
- Tail coverage
- 403(b) retirement plan
- 4 weeks of vacation to start
- 10 holidays
- 1 week of CME
- **$4,000 CME allowance**
- Vacation, holidays, and CME are prorated for part-time schedules
Candidate Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Hematology/Oncology physician
- No J-1 or H-1B sponsorship
