**Full-Time Status: Confirm | Outpatient & Inpatient Services | Rural Healthcare Community | Collaborative Specialty Team**
Cottage Hospital is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Endocrinologist to join its growing specialty services team and provide specialized endocrine care within a rural healthcare community.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of endocrine and metabolic disorders
- Provide outpatient and inpatient endocrine services as appropriate
- Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, dietitians, diabetes educators, and other healthcare professionals
- Develop individualized treatment plans and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
- Provide chronic disease management, patient education, and evidence-based care
- Treat conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, metabolic bone disorders, menopause-related endocrine conditions, and endocrine gland cancers
- Opportunity to build long-term patient relationships and improve access to specialty care
Candidate Requirements:
- Successful completion of an accredited medical school program and residency in Endocrinology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
- Basic Life Support certification required
- Active DEA Registration preferred
- Previous endocrinology practice experience preferred
- Experience in acute care, hospital-based care, or rural healthcare settings is beneficial
