A cardiovascular program in Appleton, Wisconsin is seeking an Inpatient Cardiologist to join an established team providing hospital-based cardiovascular care with advanced imaging, structural heart, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, and cardiothoracic surgery support.

Opportunity Highlights:

- Full-time Inpatient Cardiology opportunity
- Inpatient-only practice
- 7 on / 7 off schedule
- Monday-Friday coverage in Appleton
- Weekend coverage at hospitals in Appleton and Neenah
- Weekend call Friday-Sunday by phone
- Average inpatient census of approximately 10-12 patients
- Support structural heart procedures with TEE in the cath lab
- Advanced Practice Clinician support
- Inpatient echocardiography
- Inpatient EKG interpretation
- Approximately 10-15 inpatient echo/EKG studies per day
- Approximately 4 TEEs per day
- Access to comprehensive cardiovascular services
- Structural Heart program
- Interventional Cardiology services
- Electrophysiology services
- Cardiothoracic Surgery support
- Diagnostic imaging includes stress testing, echocardiography, cardiac CTA, Cardiac MRI, and ambulatory monitoring

Candidate Requirements:

- MD or DO
- Ability to provide inpatient Cardiology coverage
- Comfortable performing and interpreting TEE
- Ability to participate in the 7 on / 7 off schedule and weekend phone call rotation
