Portneuf Medical Group, located in picturesque Pocatello, Idaho, is excited to welcome an experienced Physician Assistant to our Idaho Vein Center at the Portneuf Heart & Vascular Institute. We seek a dynamic, motivated professional who is passionate about delivering superior patient care.
Position Overview:
- Evaluation of vascular ultrasound reports
- Experience as assistant in venous procedures such as: Endovenous laser ablation of superficial venous systems, stab phlebotomy, ultrasound guided sclerotherapy ligation and/or stripping of superficial venous system.
- Previous experience with evaluation and management of arterial, venous, and lymphatic disease.
- Collaborate closely with an experienced and supportive team of Cardiothoracic Surgeons, fellow APPs, nurses, and specialists.
- Join a robust, established team of APPs, ensuring collaborative support and professional growth.
- Work at a modern, 200+-bed hospital featuring a 20-bed ICU, Level II Trauma Center.
- Smart Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding—leading to better work-life balance and revenue.
- Exceptional quality of life with clearly defined work schedules and a supportive team environment.
- National certification in Laser Application and Safety
- Current license as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Idaho.
- Active Idaho license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certifications in BLS and ACLS).
- Exceptional clinical judgment and procedural skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
